Iroshizuku – Shin-kai(深海)

A color similar to RK 40450 Permanent Blue but toward the darker side.  The drying time is about standard for the blue inks and as the wet ink flow, it surprised me that didn’t bleed through iPaper UCCU or DoubleA.  Shin-kai is relatively thicker than most of the Iroshizuku inks that is more useful than others of the set.

Most people buy Iroshizuku for the bottle, both the 15mL version and 50 mL version.  Japanese people really know how to catch the buyer’s attention.  However, other than the bottle, this color will not be my first choice to get a dark blue ink (first choice…. might be KWZ IG Blue Black)

CP value: 75/100, useful color but not really for the price
