J. Herbin – 1670 Green

To my laziness, this should not be called as 1670 Green but lol.  Anyway, J. Herbin 1670 Emerald of Chivor, released in mid 2015, was the ink that I made fun of gold sheen overload, again.  Probably with the success of Stormy Gray , they are going to release the 5th color of the series but I’m not going to talk about that right now.

Very very shiny gold sheen as you can see in the photo – even with the poor cell phone camera.  The drying time is slightly shorter than regular green ink with pretty good saturation.  The ink flow is nice, slightly on the drier side, and didn’t bleed through iPaper UCCU or DoubleA.  Shading, however, I’m not sure how to distinguish it from the gold sheen – it does have nice shading but the gold sheen it overwhelming.   Other than that, it’s a pretty good color in a fancy bottle.

CP value: 85/100, like the 1670 blue, don’t shake it and you’ll have 2 bottles of ink, lol
