Aurora – Black

Another bottle of “for the brand” but at least I paid with a mild smile on my face for this one – compared to S.T. DuPont.  Totally not sure who manufactured this for Aurora, this black is slightly denser than S.T. DuPont black and Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black. This bottle could be one of my black ink choices if I don’t need water resistance.

Quick fact: short drying time (even with an M nib), good saturation with almost no shading, no water resistant, wet flow, and didn’t bleed through iPaper UCCU or DoubleA.  It didn’t give me much resistant when writing, both with 18k M nib (showed above) and regular steel M nib.  Very smooth.  When it dried out, it didn’t shine on DoubleA (while Kiwa-Guro shined like old Chinese ink)  Pretty nice ink.

CP value: 80/100, nice ink color
